We are working to resolve IT problems that mean people completing benefit online forms may not be able to complete or submit them.
The problems also mean that our staff and contact service are not able to access all their computer systems.
You can still carry out most transactions on our website. If you need to contact us by phone and your call is urgent we will try to help you. If your call is not urgent please contact us next week.
Apologies for the inconvenience while we resolve this problem.
Electricity monitors and energy monitoring sockets are available for parish councils and volunteer groups in the Sustainable Parish Energy Partnership to borrow free of charge. Electricity monitors clip onto the main power supply and give real time information about how much electricity is being used in the house. Energy monitoring sockets can be used with specific appliances to show how much electricity these are using. Both have been shown to help households save energy.
Many groups in SPEP have organised loan schemes for these devices, recruiting households in various ways including having the monitors available at village stalls, or through village websites.
Parish councils/volunteer groups are encouraged to return electricity monitors to SCDC when no longer being actively lent out, so that other parishes can take advantage of the scheme.
If you would like to borrow one or more electricity monitors or sockets, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
