Residents went to the polls on 3 May to elect 45 new district councillors and councillors for 7 parish areas.
The results of the election can be found below.
Contested parish council elections will take place in Cambourne, Gamlingay, Waterbeach, Little Eversden, Hatley, Meldreth and Great Chishill.
All other parish elections were uncontested.
Details of the agents appointed for these elections can be viewed in the Notice below.
The new wards have come about after the Council was subject to an electoral review, undertaken independently by the Local Government Boundary Commission for England (www.lgbce.org.uk).
Full details of the new wards can be seen on the LGBCE website, or a summary map can be viewed below.
The elections on 3 May will be the first elections at which all district and parish council seats in South Cambridgeshire will be contested at the same time. This is as a result of a decision of the Council to change it's electoral pattern.
On 24 September 2015, South Cambridgeshire District Council resolved to move to all out elections (whole council) with effect from the elections to be held in May 2018.
This means that from 2018 all seats on South Cambridgeshire District Council will be contested at the same time. The Council also voted to change the schedule of parish elections in South Cambridgeshire so that all parish councils have elections in the same year as district council elections.
A document explaining the changes fully can be viewed here.
