The following planning application decisions were made at this month’s meeting of South Cambridgeshire District Council’s Planning Committee, held on Wednesday 16 January at South Cambridgeshire Hall, Cambourne:

  1. Construction of 16 one-bedroom apartments in a two-storey building, and one small office building at 16 – 22 (including Michael’s Close) High Street, Girton
    Applicant: The trustees of Girton Town Charity
    Decision: Refused

  2. 10 new affordable homes on land to the north of Church Street, Great Eversden, known as OSP 148

    Decision: Deferred

  3. Approval of reserved matters for access, appearance, landscaping, layout and scale following outline planning permission for up to 121 new homes on land off Oakington Road, Cottenham

  4. Conversion of a timber barn into two homes, conversion of a brick chitting shed into one home, conversion of a timber cart shed into one home and demolition of a redundant barn and some lean-to structures to provide parking space at Fenny Lane Farm, Fenny Lane, Meldreth
